As an entrepreneur, you can always find a solution if you work hard enough”

The month of March celebrates National Women’s History Month. In the business realm, there is much to acknowledge about women’s success and growth in the workplace. Did you know that there are 114% more women entrepreneurs than 20 years ago? Women have been entering the workforce in droves, as evidenced by the 12.3 million woman-owned businesses currently in the US. To put this into perspective, there were only 402,000 woman-owned businesses in 1972. Good hustle, ladies! This persistent growth did not come without challenges, however, and AFWA’s core mission is to overcome these barriers by empowering women in business through a strong network and the resources needed to succeed.
